Hi all! Well, being the procrastinator I am I waited until the very last second to make my donation to Susan G Komen for the Mini's on a Mission Think Pink set! But at least it's completed (for now, it will be ongoing every quarter) for October and November and we raised $1172.25! Wowsers! I needed to complete it for the months I could before year end, so will continue to calculate proceeds and make continuous donations as the set continues to sell. I would't have made it in time save for the fact they allowed online donations, so here is the wonderful response I received when the payment was processed, I thought I would share it with all of you since you made it possible!
Thank you so much for your contribution of $1,172.25 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Your support is hard at work bringing us closer to our goal of saving lives and ending breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.
Your support has helped us establish the global breast cancer movemment and build a grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Today, Komen for the Cure reaches people in more than 200 countries and is the world's largest source of private funds for breast cancer research and community outreach programs, with nearly $1 billion invested to date. Most important of all, these efforts have helped save millions of lives, making the two million breast cancer survivors living in the United States the largest group of cancer survivors today.
Because of your help, we are one step closer to creating a world without breast cancer.
Sincerely,
Hala ModdelmogChief Executive Officer

Wow - that's a a lot of $$ and for a great cause. I walk the 60 mile 3-day walk for the Susan Koman Foundation each year with a team from work. Your 'think pink' set was in my stocking yesterday morning and I plan to use it to make thank you notes to all that donate and for the invitation to my annual 3-Day benefit golf tournament :)

Congrats to your blog candy winner!

Happy Holidays.

What a great cause to donate to. My FIL died last year from colon cancer, so my husband has started fundraising for the American Cancer Society by hosting a golf tournament. I know first hand what a difference we all can make by being aware and donating money to such important causes. Great Job!
